Leadership
In all that we do we try to follow the leadership of Jesus. We also call certain people in our church to help guide and direct the work of the church.
Our Church Council helps direct and guide the programs and activities of the church. The council is made up of a cross-section of our members.
A mix of paid and unpaid staff carry on the day-to-day activities of the church. The staff is also assisted by a team of Deacons (which means servants) who give care and help to the church family.

Matt Hallenbeck is our pastor. He is married to Kristen and together they have three boys; Matthew, Ian, and Will and a little girl, Marin. Matt grew up in Central New York, graduating from Notre Dame High School in Utica. After serving with the Coast Guard in Washington, D.C., attending college in Tennessee, completing graduate work in Georgia, pastoring in Alaska, and most recently, serving as an Army chaplain at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, he is glad to be home. His passion is to help make a place where people can connect with each other and with God.
